Visualizations are essentially guided meditations. Meditation can be defined as continued thought or contemplation. A guided meditation is directing your mind toward thoughts that you want to think or contemplating a situation you desire.
You are training yourself to think differently than you have thought up until now. There is no difference in the way your brain registers your negative thoughts and your new positive thoughts. Your former negative thought pattern is merely a practiced one; you have trained your brain to think that way. This is your opportunity to practice a new way of thinking, a positive one. But the key is to believe it. Initially, upon receiving and first reading your visualization, you may not believe it or feel confident that it will all come to you. However, if you spend time each day practicing reading, rereading and fully feeling the words, the thoughts, the ideas, you will believe and know that it will happen for you. Initially you will have to read the visualization, but soon you will have memorized it and will be able to recite it with your eyes closed. This is the most beneficial…it is like watching a movie where you create the scenes, the feelings, the situations you want and the actors are you and the people you want around you. The end result is the one you want and create.
The more open you are to this experience, the more fruitful it will be for you. The more you practice your visualization, the better you will feel and the faster the results will come. It is important to not question the process by saying why is it taking so long. The speed in which your desire will come to fruition depends entirely on the following factors:
- Your belief in the process
- Your ability to let go of beliefs that hold you back from achieving what you want
- Your ability to think new thoughts if old, negative ones pop up throughout the day
- Your ability to relax and allow the process to unfold naturally
The Process
Once you receive your visualization, you should read this introduction several times to fully absorb why you are doing this and how it will change your circumstances.
You will need to find a place where you feel completely comfortable and relaxed, where you will remain undisturbed throughout the process.
Sit or lie down quietly and breathe deeply, so that your belly moves in and out and not your chest.
Begin reading or thinking the words, feeling each idea as if it is happening exactly right now. Take time to feel each thought/idea as if you are thinking it/experiencing now. Allow yourself to feel very optimistic and positive throughout.
When you have finished, take another few breaths and allow it all to sink in and bask in how good it feels to have had that time for yourself, experiencing what you will soon have as if you were experiencing it right now.
Please remember to not condemn yourself or anyone else for past or present situations. Accept that you are starting where you are, and change is coming. Don’t question your ability to manifest what you want or what’s taking so long. Just stay as positive as you can, as much as you can and relax, allowing it all to happen.
The results are astounding.
