Melinda EasterlingBorn in Norway and educated in the United States, Melinda received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health and a Master of Healthcare Administration with an emphasis on Health Behavior and Health Education from the School of Public Health, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Melinda now lives in Chapel Hill with her husband and three children. Melinda has worked for crisis hotlines in South Carolina and Indiana and has remained an ardent believer in expanding her knowledge to the community. Since 2005, Melinda has immersed herself in reading and studying mindfulness and meditation, holistic healing, complementary and alternative treatments, positive thinking and the science of happiness, wholeness and well-being.

Melinda’s journey began during college in the early 90’s, soared after the birth of her first child and exploded in 2008. After undergoing a powerful transformation, Melinda’s mission has been to share the knowledge and experience she has assimilated and amassed in a relatively short time.

Melinda has learned both from being a keen observer of others and their experiences and in her own life, that the key to a fulfilling, joyful life is positive thinking, optimistic expectation and, most importantly, good feeling thoughts.

The core of her coaching is not merely to acquire the dream boat, the perfect garden, the ideal lifestyle, but that life itself is the journey…not the end result, not the goal, not the acquisition. These are all just fun things to do and have along the way. At the root of everyone’s desires is to find joy in life. Joy is very individualistic. We all want different things and see happiness differently.

Through Melinda’s daily visualizations and guidance, the answer will come both in the achievement and the pursuit.
